Testimonial and Endorsement Policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

This policy explains how Kimberly Cunningham handles testimonials, reviews, endorsements and disclosures on kimberlycunningham.com (the “Site”) and in her talks, videos and emails. It follows the Federal Trade Commission’s Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255) and the professional advertising standards that apply to licensed nurse practitioners in Colorado.

1. What we publish

We publish only genuine testimonials from real people, reflecting their honest opinions and experiences, and only with their written permission. We do not pay for testimonials. If a person who provides a testimonial has any material connection to us — for example a business relationship, free product or other compensation — we disclose it alongside the testimonial. We may shorten a testimonial for length, but we do not change its meaning.

2. Patient testimonials

We do not publish testimonials about clinical care on this Site. Experiences of Cunningham Clinic patients involve protected health information and may appear only on Cunningham Clinic’s own website or materials, and only with a signed, HIPAA-compliant authorization obtained by the clinic. Please do not send clinical testimonials to this Site; if you would like to share your experience as a patient, contact the clinic directly.

3. Results vary

Any testimonial, reader review or personal story — including Kimberly’s own — describes one individual’s experience. It is not a representation of typical results, a guarantee or a prediction of what any treatment, book, program or talk will do for you. Health outcomes depend on individual circumstances and on care from your own clinician. See our Medical Disclaimer.

4. Kimberly’s affiliations and endorsements

Kimberly serves as a trainer for Biote Medical and the Allergan Medical Institute, holds adjoint faculty appointments at the University of Colorado College of Nursing and Regis University, and is the founder of Cunningham Clinic. When she discusses a product, company or treatment with which she has a financial or professional relationship, she will say so. Her opinions are her own and are not statements on behalf of those organizations.

5. Links, affiliate relationships and sponsorships

Links on the Site to Amazon and other retailers are provided so you can find the book. As of the date above, we do not earn affiliate commissions from links on this Site and the Site contains no sponsored content. If that changes, we will disclose it clearly and conspicuously near the relevant link or content, in line with FTC guidance, and update this policy.

6. Book reviews, event feedback and media

Reader reviews quoted from retailers or public platforms are attributed to their source. Feedback from event organizers and attendees is used only with permission. We list media appearances, podcasts and publications only where Kimberly actually appeared or was featured; we do not display “as seen in” logos for organizations that have not featured her.

7. Submitting a testimonial

Event organizers, podcast hosts, readers and training participants who would like to share feedback about a talk, the book or a program may email [email protected]. By submitting, you confirm that the testimonial is genuine and your own, disclose any material connection to us, and grant us a non-exclusive license to publish it with your name (or initials, if you prefer), title and organization. You may withdraw permission at any time by emailing us, and we will remove the testimonial within a reasonable time.
